Work in Hull

There are so many reasons people are proud to call Kingston Upon Hull ‘home!’

Being a former UK City of Culture, there are endless things to do and see.

Hull is proud to be Yorkshire's only Maritime city, brimming with exciting history, architecture and art.

Being a compact city means you can explore quite a lot of Hull on foot, but there are also plenty of accessible transport links across the city and commute times are relatively short.

With the town centre offering more than most, with a beautiful marina with amazing views of The Humber, popular visitor attractions such as The Deep and The Maritime Museum, stunning architecture and a thriving art scene, lively nightlife, retailers of every kind and a bustling marketplace, Hull has it all!

With the Humber Bridge just a stone’s throw away from Hull City centre, take a stroll across the magnificent landmark and take in the breathtaking views of The Humber Estuary. If the great outdoors is your thing, Hull has vast amounts of green space with so many large parks, walks and the idyllic countryside just up the road. If you prefer the sand and sea, East Yorkshire has a wonderful 53 miles of beautiful coastline to explore. You can reach the beach in under an hour!

Sport plays a major role in the city of Hull with the likes of Hull City football club and not one, but two, Rugby Super League teams, Hull Kingston Rovers and Hull FC. Pick a side and join in the fun!

Hull is one of the most affordable places to live. You can get yourself a property for a very reasonable price here. The average property is much cheaper here than in other cities in the UK, giving you so much more for your money.

Entertainment is aplenty across Hull with two theatres to choose from, music and gig venues such as Hull City Hall and Connexin Live, the Comedy Lounge and a host of bars, pubs and nightclubs if that's your scene. There are also many family-friendly activities, including The Deep aquarium.

North East Lincolnshire is a great place to live and work due to its strong sense of community and its determination to make people’s lives better.

It is an exciting time to live, work and play in North East Lincolnshire due to its phenomenal transformation that is currently underway. There are major building works happening in Grimsby and Cleethorpes, making it an attractive place to be.

House prices are much more affordable here, making it easier to get on the property ladder. This means you get much more for your money, leaving those extra pennies for more important things.

The people of Grimsby and Cleethorpes are very much at the heart of what makes it a lovely place to visit and live. You will experience friendliness like no other and will find it easy to meet new people. Famed for its fishing industry, you won't go hungry as you will find some of the best fish and chips in Grimsby!

There is a unique seafaring heritage in Grimsby full of history, and it has now become well known for being a leading renewable energy and offshore wind producer. North East Lincolnshire is surrounded by picturesque scenery such as beautiful beaches, a striking coastline and idyllic countryside.

Easy transport links include bus and trains with much shorter commutes and journey times. There is even Humberside Airport just 15 miles away for much needed holidays!
